1 - Lawyer / Legal counsel position

Job description

We are looking for a highly qualified Lawyer to oversee and maintain the legal aspects of our business. Job tasks/responsibilities

  • Draft and solidify dealership agreements, contracts and other legal documents to ensure the company’s full legal rights.
  • Draft public announcement.
  • Give accurate and timely counsel to executives in a variety of legal topics (labor law, partnerships, international ventures, corporate finance etc.)
  • Maintain current knowledge of alterations in legislation.
  • Collaborate with management to devise efficient defence strategies.
  • Specify internal governance policies and regularly monitor compliance.
  • Research and evaluate different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations.
  • Apply effective risk management techniques and offer proactive advice on possible legal issues.
  • Communicate and negotiate with external parties (regulators, external counsel, public authority, etc.), creating relations of trust.
  • Provide clarification on legal language or specifications to everyone in the organization.
  • Conduct your work with integrity and responsibility.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Lawyer in a business environment for +4 year(s).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of corporate law and procedures.
  • BSc degree in Law or J.D. degree.
  • MA in Law or similar relevant field.
  • Full comprehension of the influences of the external environment of a corporation.
  • Demonstrated ability to create legal defensive or proactive strategies.
  • High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
  • Sound judgment and ability to analyze situations and information.
  • In-depth knowledge of administrative law and procedures.
  • Good organizational, prioritization and time-management skills.
  • Must be bilingual. (French and english)

2 - Legal assistant / Paralegal position

We are looking to hire a Legal Assistant with superb research and administrative skills. The candidate is expected to work well under pressure and deliver on tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. To ensure success, our Legal Assistant should be proficient at multi-tasking, intuitive, and an excellent communicator with a keen interest in providing accurate and insightful support to lawyers and legal teams.

Job tasks/responsibilities 

  • Draft and solidify dealership agreements, contracts, and other legal documents to ensure the company’s full legal rights
  • Conduct research on relevant laws, regulations, and legal articles to maintain current knowledge of alterations in legislation
  • Gather and arrange evidence and other legal documents for attorney review and case preparation
  • Assisting lawyers in preparing for transactional closings, depositions, hearings, trials and conferences; completing many administrative tasks, including, working on individual cases or transactions
  • Organizing and tracking files for important transactions or case documents, including pleadings and voluminous discovery documents; creating and maintaining a case-management database
  • Give legal advice concerning legal interests, rights or responsibilities with respect to a proceeding or the subject matter of a proceeding
  • Negotiate on behalf of a person who is a party to a proceeding
  • Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations in legal documents.
  • Write or summarize reports to help lawyers prepare for trials
  • Communicating with outside lawyers and other parties, clients, judicial administrative staff, and vendors
  • Monitor, study, and develop written summaries of proposed and enacted legislation, regulations, court decisions, industry guidelines, trade journals, and other relevant publications.

Requirements
  •  Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of corporate law and procedures

  • Proven experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal in a business environment or other corporate legal department.
  • Proven working experience in drafting legal and business documents
  • Two years of legal research experience
  • Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and research skills
  • Ability to understand and interpret legal documents
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Lexis-Nexis, PACER, Westlaw, or other legal research sites.

3- Technician position

Job description

In our company, we love cycling and the experiences that electric bikes are able to deliver. We believe in the future of electric bikes. As our bike Technician, you’re as good with people as you are with your hands. After all, it’s your job to interact with customers, assess their needs, and then setup, repair, and maintain their equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain exceptional experience in a varied and fast-paced environment. 

Job tasks/responsibilities

  • Maintain second level support.
  • Provide training courses to dealers for repair and service.
  • Manage parts and accessories database.
  • Perform service and repairs on a variety of makes and models of bikes.
  • Assist in daily operations, including inventory management and repairs.
  • Deliver professional, accessible and friendly service to our diverse customer base.
  • Complete assignments and projects to meet our high quality standards.
  • Collect and analyze feedbacks from consumers.
  • Any additional tasks that insure excellent customer service and outstanding value.

 Requirements 

  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of electric bike and motorcycle technology, accessories, and parts.
  • Highly competent in bike repair, diagnosis, and maintenance.
  • Must have a minimum M2 license.
  • Experienced mechanic with minimum 4+ years of experience working on bikes or motorcycles in a professional environment.
  • Valid certification for e-bike/motorcycle technician or equivalent license (required)
  • Motorcycle Mechanic Trade Certification
  • DEC in mechanical engineering (preferred)
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience working with electric parts of vehicles.
  • Knowledge and experience working with Sur-Ron or any other relevant brand is considered an asset.
  • Desire and capacity to continually learn and increase skills and abilities, develop professionally, keep up with new technologies.
  • Friendly, approachable, and customer-oriented.
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • A positive and professional attitude and a consistent work ethic, must be self-motivated and work well alone as well as on a team.
  • Must be comfortable in a fast-paced, changing environment.
