Top speed is 70-75 km/h.

What is the charging time on Surron models?
All Surron models will charge from below 20% to 100% in 3-4 hours via a conventional wall outlet.

Is the Light Bee X an ebike? A motorcycle?
The Light Bee X blurs the lines between an ebike, MTB and motorcycle. By definition, it is an off-road dirt bike. It has a twist-grip throttle, foot pegs and a mid-mounted motor like a conventional motorcycle, and is not equipped with pedals. We consider it an “e-dirt bike.” It is not classified as an ebike in many jurisdictions due to the lack of pedals and its high power output.

Is it legal to ride it on the streets and bike paths?
The Light Bee X is not classified as an ebike in most jurisdictions and therefore is usually not permitted in these areas. However, please check your local regulations.

Do you sell a pedal kit?
Surron Canada does not sell a pedal kit for the Light Bee X. Aftermarket kits are available but not supported by Surron Canada.

Is the battery removable?
Yes. The battery is easily removable by the average person.

Is the battery water resistant?
Yes. The battery has an IP (Ingress Protection) rating of 67. It can be ridden in the rain, through puddles and washed normally, and can handle moderate water crossings in off-road environments. However, significant immersion in water is not advised, and pressure washers can force water through the case. We suggest you remove the battery when using a pressure washer to clean your Light Bee X.

Does the Light Bee X come with a warranty?
Yes, the Light Bee X comes with a 1-year limited warranty in the US and Canada.

Can I buy bikes direct?
No. We only sell units through our vast North American dealer network. Visit our Dealer Locator for a dealer near you.

Where can I buy replacement parts and merchandise?
You can purchase these items directly from your dealer or via our online shop.

Do Surron models have regular service/maintenance intervals?
Yes. Please read your owner’s manual for service/maintenance intervals. Depending on the type of service and skill level, these procedures can be performed by your dealer or by the owner.

Who can I contact if I have an issue with my Light Bee?
Please contact the dealer you purchased your unit from.

If I don’t buy from an authorized Surron dealer, do I still get a warranty?
No. DIAN is the authorized Surron distributor in Canada. Our bikes come with an exclusive warranty program. Units sold by unauthorized resellers (i.e. Alibaba, AliExpress, Amazon) cannot be serviced by dealers within our network. Segway models may be serviced by authorized dealers.
